Barber Shop
January 5, 2002
West Side Barber Shop in Ridgewood, New Jersey. I've lived in Ridgewood
since 1968, and although I can't swear this barbershop has been there
all that time, it's been there at least 30 years and
my Dad and then I have been going there for a long
time. Now that I've been taking my son Ted,
there's a third generation of Shinozukas as customers.
Bill, the proprietor, loves kids. His shop is quite unusual; it's
packed full of antiques and curios--not an inch of wallspace goes
unused.
To me, clutter is the happy byproduct of a full life. So we're all
comfortable
in Bill's shop.
Here's a kid who obviously doesn't mind going to the barber. Taken from
outside the front window. (35 ASPH @ 1.4)
